Ashlie Jack Ph.D.
Vice Provost
Office of Academic Programs
Dr. Ashlie Jack has been a pivotal figure at Wichita State University since 2012. As of September 2025, she serves as Vice Provost. Within this role, Dr. Jack oversees the newly formed Office of Academic Programs, supporting curriculum, enrollment, student success, assessment/accreditation and strategic planning.
With over 20 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Jack has held various leadership roles, including Senior Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Enrollment Management, Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and several positions within the College of Applied Studies, such as Interim Associate Dean, and Assistant Dean/Accreditation Officer.
Her tenure as Interim Associate Dean and Assistant Dean/Accreditation Officer, Dr. Jack successfully guided the educator preparation programs through a rigorous national accreditation process, resulting in full accreditation from both the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE). In addition to her institutional leadership, she has contributed at the national level as a CAEP reviewer, offering a valuable external perspective and deep insight into accreditation standards.
As a leader in College of Applied Studies, Dr. Jack also provided strategic oversight and support for specialized professional association accreditations in programs such as School Psychology, Counseling, and Athletic Training. Her leadership extended to spearheading college-wide assessment initiatives and strengthening academic governance processes.
In addition to leading the Office of Academic Programs, Dr. Jack also provides strategic direction and leadership in the coordination, planning, development, execution, and management of the University-wide regional and specialty assessment and accreditation activities.
